We develop individually tailored health & wellbeing programs to suit your needs

Each therapy session includes a skype/phone consultation to assess your current condition and identify your priorities to allow the therapist to better prepare for the session. We recommend that you commit to a minimum of 5 weekly sessions, as this will allow the therapist to observe and monitor you over time as you develop your home practice and help to address any issues that might arise along the way.

What We Offer

Body balance session

Together you and your therapist will identify any problematic areas and work towards balancing them through stretching and strengthening the relevant muscles, bringing balance into your body. Focus on controlled breathing and movement as you flow through the carefully designed sequence, building flexibility and strength.

Pain Assessment & Treatment

You pre session consultation will identify any problematic areas and allow the therapist to better prepare for your visit. During the session you and the therapist will formulate some session goals and work towards these. The session may focus on reducing your pain levels, teaching you how to better cope with pain and drawing out a hope practice sheet which you will take away with you to enable you to practice at home.

Posture alignment

Smartphones, laptops, desk jobs, slouching on the couch and long commutes to work can all contribute to making you look like you’re chronically hunched over. Over time this can become painful, as it often causes people to feel tight and sore around the neck, shoulders, and upper and lower back. Fixing your posture with yoga requires that you do poses that open your chest and shoulders, allow you to find your centre of gravity, lengthen your spine, and experience what a steady, balanced, posture feels like.

Restorative yoga

A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Most restorative practices are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar.

A restorative yoga session is followed by deep relaxation.
